Duplex 2205 is the most widely used duplex stainless steel for spiral wound gasket winding. Its balanced austenitic-ferritic microstructure delivers roughly double the yield strength of standard austenitic grades along with excellent resistance to chloride pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, making it suitable for oil and gas, chemical processing and desalination applications.
Super Duplex 2507 is a high-alloy super duplex stainless steel offering exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and chloride stress corrosion cracking. Its high molybdenum and nitrogen content give it outstanding mechanical strength and corrosion performance for the most severe offshore, seawater and chemical processing environments.
