MATERIAL OVERVIEW

Inconel 718 2.4668

Inconel 718 is presented here as NiCr19Fe19Nb5Mo3 (2.4668) under DIN EN 10302. Creep-resisting steel and nickel-alloy flat products for service under sustained high-temperature stress. The standard excludes aerospace and pressure-purpose specifications.

German adoption of EN 10302:2008; selected flat-product conditions. Data edition: EN 10302:2008, Tables 1, 2, 7 and 8. Selected flat-product rows at 3–20 mm are shown. For nickel-alloy flat products below 3 mm, the Table 8 elongation minima are five percentage points lower. The 800H and 800HT entries identify EN 1.4958 and 1.4959; trade-name chemistry and heat-treatment restrictions can be narrower than the EN grade.
