Inconel 601 2.4851
Inconel 601 is presented here as NiCr23Fe (2.4851) under DIN EN 10095. Heat-resisting steel and nickel-alloy flat products for elevated-temperature service.
German adoption of EN 10095:1999 with the corrected NiCr15Fe tensile range 550–850 MPa. Data edition: EN 10095:1999, Tables 1, 2 and 6. Flat-product properties only. The existing SS309 and SS310 names lead to EN 1.4833 and EN 1.4845 respectively, commonly associated with 309S and 310S. EN composition limits control these pages. HB is the guidance maximum Brinell hardness. The Inconel 601 row shown is for thicknesses of at least 3 mm, where a numerical elongation requirement is listed.

Composition is cast analysis in mass %. Values marked ≤ are maxima; paired values are ranges. Ti and Nb expressions use the carbon content by mass. The symbol — means that this table has no limit for that entry.

Room-temperature properties. Rp0.2 and Rp1.0 are minimum proof strengths; Rm is tensile strength. A80 applies below 3 mm thickness; A applies from 3 mm using a proportional gauge length of 5.65√S₀. +AT = solution annealed; +A = annealed; +RA = recrystallization annealed; +P = precipitation hardened. Strength is in MPa (N/mm²).
